    Properties

    concurrency?: number

Requests in flight at once inside a stage (default 10).

    peerUserId: string

The other participant of the 1:1 thread. The thread-open refresh carries no peer id (the participants come from the inbox snapshot), so this stage sends nothing from it; it is accepted so callers describe one thread the same way for every stage of the journey.

The prefetched item description the inbox stage takes. The thread-open refresh does not repeat IGDirectGetThreadItemsV2, so nothing here is sent from it; it is accepted for a uniform thread description.

    refresh?: boolean

Repeat the inbox refresh set before opening the thread (default true). The app has two observed thread-entry shapes: when the user re-enters the Direct tab it refreshes the inbox (privacy settings, pending inbox, quick reply, reel media, the persona twice) and then opens the thread with two warm starts; opening the thread from an already-shown inbox sends no refresh and a single warm start. Passing refresh: false right after opening the tab asks for a shape the app does not produce.

    threadId: string

The thread's v2 id (ig_thread_igid, as the inbox returns it).

    trayUserIds?: readonly (string | number)[]

The tray participants of feed/get_latest_reel_media; the request is skipped without them.
