com.bloks.www.bloks.caa.reg.contactpoint_phone, "What's your mobile
number?" — the first screen of Instagram's Android sign-up, recorded from
the fresh-install Android 429 sign-up dump of 2026-05-15.
It is reached from the login homepage's "Create new account" button
(LoginHomepageScreen.createNewAccount()), which is the recorded
aymh_create_account_button.async answer the screen's enter sends. Its enter
is the screen's own setup: the sign-up session starts, the NTM experiment is
exposed, the screen is pushed, and the Play Integrity nonce, the contact-point
prefill and the keystore nonce are fetched before the screen fetch that
issues its ids. The two nonces belong to this screen's setup and are spent
by the time the account is created; the account creation obtains its own.
The person types the number they want the account on; submitPhoneNumber
submits it and sends the SMS, then moves to the code screen. The number must
include the country code.
The screen's server state — the reg_context chain the later steps send — is
process state in RegistrationSession, not on the handle.
No screenshot: the frame needs a fresh registration on an emulator with a
phone number that can receive the SMS.
Unverified on Android 451: this screen is recorded only on 429. The recording
that closes it is an Android 451 app registering a new account from the login
homepage.
